God "Always" Knows Best...Even when we don't think so!!!

  • Mood:
  • Music: none. I could really use some, though!

God’s Way Is Best

When looking at our life’s journey

And the paths that we have trod

We can be assured of one thing:

Those steps have been chosen by God.

So we should not be disheartened

When troubles seem to abound

Rather, we should put our trust in Jesus

In whom all our strength is found.

If it were left up to us

I think of how many times we would fail

It is only through the grace of God,

That we can prevail.

The truth: God always provides a way

Although sometimes hard to perceive,

We must have faith in God

In whom we do believe.

So even now, as I ask the question:

What is His plan for me

I must be sure of things I hope for,

And certain of what I cannot see.

Lord, I will trust in you

Whatever may befall

Because one thing is for certain

Jesus is still all in all!

March 31, 2003

Note: Inspired by scripture. (Phillipians 4: 13, Proverbs 20:24, and Hebrews 11:1)

Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Hebrews 11 NIV)

I can do everything through him who gives me strength. Phillipians 4:13(NIV)

A man's steps are directed by the LORD. How then can anyone understand his own way? Proverbs 20: 24 (NIV)

Comments: Sometimes we are faced with obstacles, or in times of frustration we need to be reminded that we can’t possibly understand God’s plan for us, or WHY He allows things to happen. It is in these times we must actively practice our ‘Faith’ and trust in God. One thing to remember is: All things happen because God either makes it happen, or allows it to happen!!!

I'm really touched by this poem. For we walk by faith, not by sight. Sometime's I think this is when we grow the most!
